DreamBuilder started with discussions I had with friends facing interior design challenges as new homeowners. After researching five similar apps and surveying 30 people, I incorporated features like 3D view mode, an Inspiration section, and customizable floor plans. Following user tests and interviews, I refined the app to improve its overall usability and experience.

Many people struggle to visualize how their home will look with different design choices, such as furniture layouts, color schemes, and decor styles.

◦ Lack of Access to Design Tools:

Some individuals may find it challenging to access professional-grade design tools and software for creating floor plans and visualizing interior designs.

◦ Limited Inspiration and Resources:

Many people struggle to find inspiration and resources for their home design projects, leading to uncertainty and indecision about design choices.

Implement a feature in DreamBuilder enabling users to convert 2D floor plans into 3D models with a click, enhancing visualization and refinement of ideas.

◦ User-Friendly Design Tools:

Ensure DreamBuilder offers professional-grade design software with a user-friendly interface, prioritizing ease of use for all users.

◦ Design Inspiration section:

Refine the Design Inspiration section to offer users a diverse selection of design ideas and furniture recommendations inspired by the latest trends.
